- True distributed DB engine with embedded two-phase commit (2PC) provides distributed database consistency. No complex external utilities or tools, no more “eventual” data consistency

- Increased security – optional SharkSQL Client feature offers tcpip data packet level encryption vs. traditional tcpip session TLS/SSL encryption. While still maintaining high performance, this option significantly increases security, reduces management and other concerns associated with 3rd party vendor provided certificates
